Skärgårdens Kanotcenter is a small company run by the couple Milena and Andrew for most of the year. We also work at sea, but we do our best to reply as soon as we can.

Getting here

We are located on a quiet street on Resarö Island about 3 km from Vaxholm, in the Stockholm middle archipelago. You can get here easily from Stockholm by bus or car all year around. Our nearest airport is Arlanda, but you can also fly to Skavsta.

    From Stockholm C take the metro / red line towards Mörby Center. At T-bana Tekniska Högskolan take bus 670 towards Vaxholm. Get off at Engarn / Resarö. Bus stop is about 150 m from Skärgårdens Kanotcenter.

    Getting here from Stockholm Arlanda Airport

    Fly Scandinavian Airlines, British Airways, Norwegian etc. to our nearest Arlanda airport. Stockholms main airport is conveniently located on the north side of Stockholm. Take a direct train from the airport toStockholm city (20 mins). Perhaps visit Stockholm for a day or two before paddling into the wild.

    Getting here from Stockholm Skavsta Airport

    Stockholm Skavsta Nyköping (NYO) is located about 100 km south of Stockholm. Airport shuttle takes you directly to Stockholm (80 mins).

    Getting here by car

    About 30 min drive from Stockholm city. Drive E18 from Stockholm towards Norrtälje. After 17 kilometers take road 274 towards Vaxholm. After about 10 min, turn left towards Resarö. After about 150 m, take the first little exit to the right after the bus stop. Continue about 100 m to the entrance parking next to the kayak center.
